Evan Keene was born in the BIG CITY of Memphis, Tennessee. He found his love for Flyfishing stripping Fliez for bass on local golf course ponds and day trips to the Little Red and White Rivers in Arkansas. Not only is Evan Co-owner of the shop, but he’s without a doubt our most enthusiastic fishing guide. His passion for the sport and local waters is unmatched and you will have one heck of a time fishing for trout out of this man’s vessel. Between telling silly guide jokes and being a patient teacher, Evan is the perfect guide for anglers of all skill level. He has been fishing the Yellowstone River and anything else that flows within a two hundred mile radius vigorously since he moved to Montana in 2018.

Alex's roots in fishing trace back to the Catskills, the historic birthplace of American fly fishing. Graduating from West Virginia University in 2016, Alex ventured into guiding in Livingston, Montana. Quickly recognizing southwest Montana as his lifelong home, he founded Livingston Trout Guides. With a wealth of guiding experience across numerous Montana rivers and lakes, along with ventures in Patagonia, Chile, Alex is well-equipped to curate an unforgettable and extraordinary fishing experience for you.

BREWER BUTLER

Legend has it that Brewer Butler was born into this world, rod in hand. Given that rod was a spin rod, but Brewer’s love for fishing has always been there. It is contagious. He has developed into one of the most knowledgeable lake fisherman in paradise Valley and Livingston, excelling in fly fishing for trout. We guarantee you that your day on the water will be full of learning with Brewer. He is dedicated to his clients and wants them to succeed as badly, if not more, than the anglers themselves. Like all of our fishing guides here at the shop, Brewer has spent years fishing the Yellowstone watershed and is eager to make your fishing day successful and unforgetable!

WILL DILLON
Guide
Will grew up in North Carolina and got his start in the fishing industry through his father at a young age. He never stopped fishing… once Will discovered the town of Livingston, the search for his forever home was over. If he’s not teaching youngsters how to fly fish in Yellowstone National Park or taking repeat clients out on the Yellowstone, he’s probably sitting on the couch at home with his standard poodle, Layla. During the offseason, Will is an avid ice fisherman and snowboarder. Will is an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and patient fishing guide. A day spent in his boat is full of lessons, tips, good laughs, and some great memories!

ASHTON RUSSELL

Ashton is one of the few guides you’ll meet on the river who is actually from Montana. He grew up in Red Lodge, and some of his earliest memories are floating the Stillwater River near Columbus, chucking big hoppers. He knew early on in life that he wanted to be involved with the fishing community. These days, if he is not guiding for a local outfitter, he is ripping streamers somewhere in the great state of Montana. Ashton’s passion for the river and the fish is undeniable. He is patient, and excellent with young anglers, and can with out a doubt, show a veteran angler some new tricks as well. You will be in good hands with Ashton as your fishing guide!
