Hatch Finders Fly Shop located in Livingston, MT is one of the most unique fly shops you will ever come across. We tie every fly we sell, and we take extreme care and pride in the quality of the fly you fish with. It is a service that is not usually done anymore, but at Hatch Finders for us it is all about the fishing.
Hatch Finders is a full-service fly shop. We have every essential you need. We offer rods, reels, terminal tackle, boots, waders, flies, and a large variety of tying materials. Our prices are affordable and our service impeccable. Every person who walks in our shop is greeted with a smile and hello. We love to talk fishing and fly tying, so any question you may have we will be happy to answer.
For 12 years our shop was located in downtown Livingston. After all that time we decided to move our beloved fly shop to a bigger and better location. Our location is just a few miles to the Yellowstone River, and we are on the way to Yellowstone National Park. Just swing off of Interstate 90 exit 333 and head South.

Coming from the same Maryland town as Lefty Kreh, James found his passion for fly fishing while at the University of Vermont. Exploring the rivers and lakes among the Green Mountains refined his skills, shaping him into the well-rounded guide he is today. An adept Rainy's fly designer with an expert-level understanding of fly fishing, James is the perfect guide to lead you on a virtual tying session or an unforgettable trip down the river.
Evan Keene
Owner, Guide
Evan Keene was born in the BIG CITY of Memphis, Tennessee. He found his love for Flyfishing stripping Fliez for bass on local golf course ponds and day trips to the Little Red and White Rivers in Arkansas. Not only is Evan Co-owner of the shop, but he’s without a doubt our most enthusiastic fishing guide. His passion for the sport and local waters is unmatched and you will have one heck of a time fishing for trout out of this man’s vessel. Between telling silly guide jokes and being a patient teacher, Evan is the perfect guide for anglers of all skill level. He has been fishing the Yellowstone River and anything else that flows within a two hundred mile radius vigorously since he moved to Montana in 2018.
